Life was perfect in the grand expanse of the Republic's galactic territory. Humanity achieved an everlasting utopia where suffering and despair were almost unheard of. Both external/internal threats were rare and easily dealt with, keeping the population safe and secure. Members of the Republic lived fulfilling lives or were content with it at the very least. However, there will always be those disgruntled with the status quo. One of those who were unsatisfied was a group of African citizens who called themselves the Zulu Initiative.

The Zulu Initiative protested for the right to have their own planet outside of the Republic's territory governed by them alone. Their protest often turned violent, causing further dissent between the Initiative and the Republic. Wanting to end this problem peacefully, the Republic allowed the Initiative to travel outside their galaxy under the condition that they could never return. Without hesitation, the Initiative accepted this agreement and immediately started a project to build a massive self-sustaining space station that could allow the entire Initiative to live comfortably as they search for their own world to colonize in another galaxy.

It took only a decade for the project to be finished, as the Republic funded the entirety of the project and provided most of the workforce. After its completion, all members of the Initiative, which totaled one million people all within the young adult age group, boarded the station and left Republic territory utilizing a slip-space drive, abandoning their families who didn't wish to secede from the Republic.

The quality of life within the station was excellent. It was complemented by medical facilities, schools, entertainment venues, spacious housing, hydroponics farms (which provided the entire population with food and clean water), and many other amenities. The people would be well protected with redundant safety features and escape pods; however, the armament onboard the station only allowed small-arm weaponry to defend its population internally, while robust shielding systems protected the entire station from asteroids and possible external hostile lifeforms.

Throughout their first year, the space station traveled from galaxy to galaxy, searching for a new home. Their search was long and uneventful, as the Zulu Initiative had trouble finding the right star system to colonize. The Republic monitored the Initiative through a backdoor AI hidden in the station's system that fed the Republic information during their expedition. The Republic's espionage was mostly harmless as they only intended to record any anomalies or discoveries the Initiative may find.

The Zulu Initiative eventually got itself lost and stuck in one of the most remote places in the universe. Their navigation system was in disarray, while the station's slip-space drive was beyond repair from constant overuse. The station was now orbiting a lonely star with only a single barren planet within its orbit. The next closest star was about 10 billion light-years away, which made their situation much more dire. However, the station could still provide for its population as the energy provided by the Lonely Star allowed it to continue self-sustaining operations; however, edicts were declared to control the population. This caused some discourse within the station, but not enough to be a significant problem. Everyone on board knew they were stranded, but they were hopeful the engineers would soon fix the slip-space drive.

Ten months later, the station still drifted around the star in isolation as more and more people became uneasy with their situation. The engineers did fix the navigation system; however, repairs on the slip-space drive were not doing so well. It had been overused so much that attempts to fix it only made it worse to the point that they would need to fabricate a whole new slip-space drive. The only problem was none of the engineers knew how to make one, as the Republic had made it for them. Once realizing this, the leaders aboard the station had the engineers isolated and were not allowed to contact the rest of the station's population until they could come up with a solution.

A month later, several protests started to occur, which remained, for the moment, mostly non-violent. Before things could worsen, a small asteroid entered the star system and was collected by the science team. The asteroid contained a fossil believed to belong to a planet destroyed a million years ago. This discovery distracted the population, which bought the engineers and political leaders more time before riots could occur. The fossil would undergo a reconstruction process in the station's research facility in hopes of studying the resurrected lifeform.

The Republic continued to record its findings and monitor the Initiative's internal discourse. Things went somewhat peaceful within the station, as the scientists made a massive breakthrough by resurrecting the alien lifeform. The lifeform was reborn into the adult stages of its life while retaining its physical strength, intellect, instincts, and memories from when it died long ago.

A day after the alien specimen was reborn, a massive unknown force surge occurred throughout the station, causing the backdoor AI surveying the Initiative to malfunction. The AI could transmit the station's final status to the Republic before it was forced to shut down.

The surge caused all the station's escape pods to launch without any provisions or personnel onto the barren lone planet, creating a graveyard of inoperable and abandoned vessels. Any ships onboard the station suffered catastrophic engine failures that needed significant repairs before they could be utilized again. The station's automatic security systems and containment protocol also sealed all exterior entrances and potential openings into the station through heavy titanium shielding and blast doors, preventing anyone from getting in or getting out. Internal communications suffered multiple failures throughout the ship, making it difficult to spread information to the populace. While some power throughout the station had been lost, the life support and vital functions of the station remained functional. Thankfully, no deaths or injuries had occurred, and the populace was ordered by roaming security forces to stay in their domiciles until local leaders could figure out what was happening. Lastly, the alien lifeform had been reported to have escaped its containment.

It has been two years since the Initiative seceded from the Republic, and a month has passed since the station went under lockdown from the surge. The Republic had no means of being able to contact the Initiative. As of now, a discussion is being held on whether they should break their end of the bargain to send out a reconnaissance mission to see if they needed their assistance or leave them to rescue themselves. All the information the Republic had gathered over the past two years and one month was leaked onto a rogue website but was shut down an hour after it was released. Less than a dozen people outside the government elite knew what was happening.

This is where your character comes in. She would set out to that space station alone. She would either be sent to the station by the Republic, or she could be one of the few dozen who found the leaks of what had happened to the Initiative. Her mission or movies is entirely up to you. This should leave it open enough for your character to be anything from a government agent, diplomat, mercenary, pirate, rogue, explorer, scientist, and so on.

Your character's background in this setting and her motives/mission are needed for me to start the scene. I would also like to know what apparel and equipment she would be taking into the station. With that, I would be able to introduce her into the RP with her small ship (shuttle, corvette, frigate, etc) entering the isolated star system where the stranded station was located.

This RP would be a sci-fi survival horror with the small but unlikely chance that your character would be able to succeed in her mission and escape. Should she fail at any point, the thing(s) that dwell within the ship will ravage her, ending the RP. Failure could result in your character being used as a fuck toy, breeding bitch, or other non-fatal fates that, while normally would mean a bad ending, could be a "good" ending depending on how your character accepts it. However, gruesome ends such as being raped to death or bursting open trying to birth a monstrous spawn are also possible should you wish for gory ends to be a possibility.

If this scene interests you, let me know.
